Why use HubSpot with Data Alias
Contact and deal exports have a name, an email and a phone number in almost every row. Data Alias replaces them with consistent aliases, so pipeline analysis still works without the identities.
How it works
Data Alias doesn't connect to HubSpot. HubSpot's API doesn't accept requests from a browser, so a connection would have to route your original records through a Data Alias server — and Data Alias never does that. So the export stays your step: export the data from HubSpot, drop the file into Data Alias, and everything after that happens in your browser.

Export from HubSpot
Open the contacts or deals view you want in HubSpot and export it as a CSV or XLSX file.

Drop the file into Data Alias
The file is read in your browser tab. It is not uploaded anywhere.

Review the columns
Names, companies and emails are suggested as aliases, phone numbers as masked. Change any rule you disagree with.

Download the safe copy
Row order, column order and empty cells stay as they were. Use it in an AI tool, or keep the mapping to restore real values later.

Why isn't there a direct HubSpot connection?
HubSpot's API doesn't accept requests from a browser, so a connection would have to route your original records through a Data Alias server — and Data Alias never does that. A file export keeps your original data out of our servers entirely.
Is anything sent to HubSpot?
No. Data Alias has no connection to HubSpot and makes no request to it.
Will the same value get the same alias everywhere?
Within one file, yes — the same email becomes the same alias in every row, so joins and counts still work. To keep aliases identical across several files, use an alias vault.
